Alex Turnbull is a chip off the old block
The son of former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has taken credit for the ousting of Tony Abbott from the seat of Warringah, labelling him, “very much a terrorist,” in relation to political differences within the Liberal Party.
Speaking exclusively to 9News from Singapore, Alex Turnbull, who has been a vocal critic of sections of the Liberal Party since his father lost the leadership said, “I think not having Tony (Abbott) there helps.”
“I am very happy I got rid of Tony.”
“Tony was very much a terrorist.”
Peta Credlin, Abbott’s former chief-of-staff was having none of that. She unloaded on Alex. And didn’t miss (listen from 6’45”):
